Katie Starr
“I am an advocate for my clients – their voice within Fusion!” says Katie Starr.
As a Client Solutions Consultant, Katie brings enthusiasm, organization and energy to Fusion Learning. With an extensive background in communications and planning, she works closely with clients and the team to ensure all Fusion Learning designs and sessions are executed with excellence.
“I’m involved in the assessment, design and development of our programs. I try to be really proactive in everything I do for clients. I listen actively to understand their situation and ask questions to ensure that I have gotten it right! I genuinely love what I do and the people I work with, both clients and Fusion team members.”
What delights and inspires you about your work?
“I really enjoy working with clients to better understand their needs, and then developing a program that will hit the mark and help them reach their goals. I’m dedicated to delivering excellence, and always willing to learn, grow and collaborate.”
What is your background, and how does it impact your current role?
“With a Sociology and Communication Studies BA from Wilfrid Laurier, I have experience in a variety of fields and environments. I worked in Public Relations as well as in Marketing/Advertising before joining Fusion Learning.”

What is your perspective on sales development?
"I find learning exciting and invigorating. It's the backbone of growth and development, both personally and professionally. I jump at opportunities every day to expand my knowledge. At the end of the day, an active mind is a productive mind. Continuous sales development is key to the success of any company.”
