Fusion Learning Inc. Named One of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers for 2015

Firm once again showcased as one of Canada’s most innovative employers

TORONTO, March 10th, 2015: Fusion Learning Inc., one of North America’s top sales training firms, announced today that it has been named one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers for 2015.  This is the second consecutive year the firm has received this honor.

Now in its third year, Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers recognizes SMEs with exceptional workplaces and forward thinking human resource policies.  Employers are evaluated on the same eight criteria as the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project:

  3. Health, Financial & Family Benefits

  7. Training & Skills Development, and
  8. Community Involvement

The primary difference between this award and Canada’s Top 100 Employers award is that this competition is limited to private-sector companies with less than 500 employees.  “Small and medium enterprises play a very significant role in Canada’s economy,” says Tony Meehan, Publisher at Mediacorp.  “It’s important for Canadians to learn what the most innovative SME offer and to realize that smaller employers are capable of doing remarkable things for their employees.”

Fusion Learning may have drawn the spotlight for this award due to their publishing of Engage Me: Strategies from the Sales Effectiveness Source.  Drawn from personal experience, this book outlines the practical steps that Fusion employs to create an outstanding culture.   In fact, Engage Me provides specific how-to advice for nearly every criterion behind the Top 100 SME award; from building the right atmosphere, to performance management and coaching, to skill development.  The Fusion team lives these practices and teaches them to their clients as well.
